premise is cool but it got predictable and boring

fucking beautiful art !!! intriguing !!!! psychopath orphan johannes obsessed with father peter who sold children to editor H, a pedophile, in order to subsidize church that is now under his jurisdiction (used to be under sister mary's but she committed suicide and im p sure it has something to do with johannes) peter was shooting up johannes with opium??? when he was a teen, then sent him to a mental institution? they meet again 14 yrs later when johannes is abt to be executed; peter saves him and requests his aid with the pedophile transactions -- johannes ends up killing the boy (penny) and peter threatens to hurt himself to which johannes pleads not to (his achilles heel i guess) -but not sure that peter actually sells them for pedophilia? since he gives editor H heir a blowjob and its implied this was what he did for the previous editor (who was his adoptive father)
