UGH this one really said fuck gender norms! such a refreshing read and the characters are well developed, i particularly like how we get an insight into everyone's thought processes. there's also a nice overarching theme of breaking out of who you thought you always were and trying out things to see if you could pull that off too. its realistic in that sense. chanyeol is also the SWEETEST ANGEL; is into makeup and had traumatic experiences and so keeps his walls up at all times. this was the reason he called it quits with his ex-fiance, but haedam breaks them down and shines like the sun @@@ i love them honestly lol and HOCHAN BEING A HOPELESS ROMANTIC???? WE LOVE TO SEE MEN FANTASIZE ABOUT DATING TOO WOW overall wholesome series i love it

ok this is gangster but WELL done like pacing plot is heavy with tension and intrigue - feels like they pull no punches with the kinds of people they portray, as well as that mentality. im hooked tbh, and their chemistry is great! a mechanic scammer and a lonewolf cutthroat gangster, seems like theyre perenially one upping the other with their daring and assertive personalities. really well-matched here.

WELL WRITTEN AND REALISTIC ROMANCE OH MY GOD I LOVE THESE TWO

ok hands down this is the BEST THING THAT HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. the author did not pull any punches with this one--was not afraid to go to where they needed to. the characters they wrote were exquisite, and the pacing was actually phenomenal. it was like getting roped into the world and before you knew it the plot was already so complex and the characters so entangled with one another. it was predictable on one level (see the doctor's fate) but there were so many twists and turns along the way and with the rapid-fire developments and comedy it's not a deterrent at all. in fact, i found myself wondering the whole time HOW it would unfold. fucking brilliant. this author is honestly a genius.

interesting, motivation due to A's inferiority complex -- genuinely hope it uncovers how the art mentor is abusing his apprentices and that A doesnt get involved with B just due to initial motive (is rather weak and hard to believe? i assumed it was to make him fall in love with A and ruin him, but apparently its just sex lol?) wow the mature versions make this genuinely one of the best reads - their chemistry is the most delicious thing. rife with tension, where one is trying to one-up the other. power dynamics laden with sexual tension.
