WELL WRITTEN AND REALISTIC ROMANCE OH MY GOD I LOVE THESE TWO

ok hands down this is the BEST THING THAT HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. the author did not pull any punches with this one--was not afraid to go to where they needed to. the characters they wrote were exquisite, and the pacing was actually phenomenal. it was like getting roped into the world and before you knew it the plot was already so complex and the characters so entangled with one another. it was predictable on one level (see the doctor's fate) but there were so many twists and turns along the way and with the rapid-fire developments and comedy it's not a deterrent at all. in fact, i found myself wondering the whole time HOW it would unfold. fucking brilliant. this author is honestly a genius.

interesting, motivation due to A's inferiority complex -- genuinely hope it uncovers how the art mentor is abusing his apprentices and that A doesnt get involved with B just due to initial motive (is rather weak and hard to believe? i assumed it was to make him fall in love with A and ruin him, but apparently its just sex lol?) wow the mature versions make this genuinely one of the best reads - their chemistry is the most delicious thing. rife with tension, where one is trying to one-up the other. power dynamics laden with sexual tension.
