GOD THIS MADE ME FEEL ALIVE. i thought jinha was just some asshole who played around with hwane, but it turns out he was too afraid to tell him his true feelings. both were scared, and hwane was really hurt by that. the unfurling of what was left unsaid was really beautifully done. god. realistic characters and plot. nothing more you can ask for.

DRAMATIC and keeps me on my toes; the characterization is a+

SO MUCH TO SAY, gay boys in a band dating each other. hits all the emotions (fav arc has been aki/haru/uegetsu so far that shit hurt) and it makes me feel excited about music ueno currently filling in for hiragi and shizu's band -- composing yuki's unfinished song mafuyu wavering not wanting to be left behind because of music (as it had been the case when yuki was still around and ultimately that fight over music caused his death/suicide) shizu bystander in love with hiragi who idolizes/d yuki, but hiragi madly in love with him lol akihiko and haru going steady FINALLY ;-;

honestly? this is fucking perfect. binged it in one evening. the art is gorgeous, there's such character and dynamism to it. very comedic and refreshing. the characters have breadth. im so happy with this story, its satisfying while still delivering on emotional depth. subin has been crushing on yunwoo for years, makes a move on him and the man disappears into the army for two years. ghosts him only to come tearing down the wall he put up. they go out drinking with dongjun babe and all get drunk. subin and yunwoo actually get it on but internalized homophobia...... its really beautiful seeing yunwoo discover his bisexuality, and yet never get over his first love. and very interesting to see subin develop his relationship with jun, who is a jealous older lover. honestly, his overprotectivenesss and jealousy are always well oriented. he even started dating subin when he felt that yunwoo might be making a move. definitely going to reread. i died of laughter just as i felt my heart ache. realistic development and dialogue and dilemmas. i couldn't ask for more.

really sweet premise..! war correspondent babe went into a coma when he was covering the syrian war for 5 years and he came back only to find his lover with another man. they've known each other all their lives and had been dating 8 years prior to bb's coma. both still have feelings for each other, i think the ex feels a sense of responsibility to his new bf because he had been supporting him in those 5 painful years. ex (taejung) even admits its not the same kind of love he had for joon.. fuck. sad shit bb enters a fwb relationship w his boss and former acquaintance chp 59.......christens this series as a masterpiece. emotional intelligence and boundaries. fuck. fuck.

would have given 3/4 but the ending was really rushed!

wow. i don't even know what to say. fully cried, this author really knows how to portray emotion. i can relate to both so much - mashiro has been holding in all his emotions for the sake of his mother initially, to make sure he doesnt upset her more than she already is, and this eventually bleeds into all his relationships. kanade also struggles with insecurity and worries about mashiro and others hating him. i'm so glad they found each other after high school - both were in love with each other then, and kanade ran away because mashiro got a gf (so as not to displease her..) really beautiful depiction of being queer too, in my opinion. struggling with it, in contrast to het norms.
