Michiru Heya
It's hard for me to describe, but this whole story lets such a heart-warming and comfortable feeling bloom in my chest. Their love is so soft, pure and healing - it's a very delicately developing romance. It's beautiful to see how Roger's life begins to brighten up again and how he can slowly move on from his wounds of the past, after finding true love and friendship through Reno, his friends and Lambert-Senpai. It feels like by the end of this manga, Roger is finally able to procede into a brighter and happier future together with Reno! It's quite a nice end, finishing on a satisfying high-note (with those POS getting what they deserve - from the bottom of my heart, I wish them a terrible, terrible life :>) leaving the future of the pairing together open to interpretation. It's clear just how happy and complete they make each other, which is why one doesn't really need to see what will happen, to know they'll have a wonderful future together. The protagonists have such lovable and sweet personalities! Both of them really grew on me, which is why I personally just really would've loved some additional Extras or another Volume - to show more of their future life, especially focusing around how they'll adapt to life after school and how their relationship may develop and strengthen during that time. Though that's really just a greedy wish of mine haha! I honestly simply wish there was more content of those two… I would've loved to know what was written in the letter of the grandma though ahh! But I believe it was something very kind-hearted and empathic. Anyway, those two deserve the whole universe!! Reno's friends are also MVPs, they're all real ones. 4th time re-reading <3
