alright so it started as a 1star with very cliche themes and try to guess this one... that's right! rape! i almost dropped it but after all it has redeeming themes, and they basically have redemption mini arcs, from the whole manga i liked the father the most (he's so nice T T), well as a story device, how he helped push the story and his relationship with the mc's was very coooool yuh. But it'd feel very wrong to give it any more than 3 stars which is already very generous but at the same time they were kinda cute in the 2nd vol. so it's deserved

it's so good what the heck, the pacing is so amazing, everything fell into place YY but dam i cried many tears of both joy and sadness here Edit: sooo im rereading the series, currently on ch.18, and I gotta say the way blue is written, dang, it’s so good, an obsessive, selfish, meddling, toxic ex written from a neutral perspective, at first even a positive one and from what I remember Ethan realizes the toxicity and this time unlike when they broke up, he’s able finally say no and cut ties with him or sumn, anyway I’m rambling and I don’t remember much so I might be completely wrong... Edit 2: now on. chap. 42 and ooh there it goes blues and ethans backstory and yes all that uncomfortableness and spite I felt towards him was very correct but Ethan really tells it best on those few chapters god damn I totally forgor why blue was so obsessive bout Ethan... now I know...which, sure, makes me understand him better, but oooh it does not justify the years of ,well basically, abuse by lying to Ethan and faking romantic feelings towards him just trying to make up for his trauma by using him as a replacement... and now I’m spoiling it, well whatever nobody reads these anyway so it’s just for my future self... hiiii hope you’re not stressed about school anymore my guy! Edit 3: (so I was wrong in edit 1 ) still stressed about school on ch. 61 (damn almost finished) and ofc blue is forgiven and has a tiny redemption arc and well still hate him but I guess I do forgive him as a chara as well... on a more positive note goddd I love these guys Ethan and Jimmy are just so lovable and cute aaaaaaaa Edit 4: waaaaahhhh I love it so much it’s quite a long story after all, a lot happens but everything has its place in the story, it really is just extremely well written and I’m glad it ends where it ends although I’m a bit sad there’s no backstory for jimmy I get that this is a story about Ethan first but I would read a sequel if it would ever emerge. Still really one of the best reads ever, this is fantastic
