Unpopular opinion but I don't think either of them are in the wrong to want to top, and I don't think the black hair didn't consent to it either bc he clearly did but he prefers putting it in rather than taking it which once again completely cool. I don't understand how y'all want people that strictly top or bottom to do vise versa and drop their "pride", it's deffo not just a pride thing some people prefer is a certain way and that's okay! However I do agree that in this manga they could've resolved this better.

I'm actually glad that he gave mari-chan to a relative who could raise him well, that was the most dad like thing he could ever do for his child. It shows that he cares about how his child was going to be raised, he realized that he couldn't raise him well so he gave him to someone who can and still remained by his side, w father. Also can I just express how much I love it when a fem presenting person automatically doesn't take the role of the bottom position, I like how the seme is in touch with his feminine side and bruh ofc he's a stylist so he's gonna have good fashion sense but he looked good every panel I'm envious. Also big relate to Mari-chan I too cannot deal with people, and love long haired people :) tis was wholesome
