Mitsuomi, "fired" from his job in Tokyo, returned to his hometown, a small town in the countryside, for the first time in 10 years. there he meets Yamato, stepson of old man Kumai who runs a farm near Mitsuomi's family home and they soon become friends, but one day Mitsuomi kisses Yamato on the cheek while Yamato is sleeping. Mitsuomi thinks that staying here and inheriting his family job might not be so bad and Yamato starts thinking he might be able to try to find his real parents if Mitsuomi is by his side.
