Where the Dragon's Rain Falls
Really well written story but it did leave me feeling somewhat unsatisfied with the ending? With all the ambiguity in the relationships, the detachment the characters all feel to the country, and the fact that Suu never talks about his past despite the fact we get to see quite a bit of it so I thought it would be relevant later in the story. Also this is tagged as romance but I absolutely wouldn’t go so far as to call it that at all. Suu sorta dates both of them at the same time and they kind of accept that arrangement. But like there’s only two times I think where anyone actually says they love the other. The relationships are ambiguous and convoluted. Both “love interests” harm the protagonist. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed it but it was far from what I was expecting. If you want a romance series this isn’t for you?
