A really cute manhwa that has a good plot line about the relationship between a daughter and her tyrant father. Extra points for developing the storyline outside of “I change my dad for the better” that these father/daughter reincarnation manwha’s fall into. It’s also got some really interesting side characters and villains that are well developed. Strongly recommend if you like an interesting story with some cute moments.

Very good manhwa. Like I can’t emphasise this enough. It’s about a prince who has had to live estranged from his corrupt family and eventual is in poverty until he is rediscovered by said family. He meets the prime ministers son and through him, learns about the extent of a monster his father is and decides to take the throne from him, himself. Season 1 deals with the dark politics surrounding this and does it masterfully well. The romance angle just adds to the stakes and doesn’t take away from the story. Season 2 delves into the politic problems of managing a kingdom and how the prime minister tries to hide his feelings for the (newly crowned) King. I like how even though they have won the battle against the evil former king, his actions are still felt in the aftermath of the kingdom. I really, REALLY recommend this story, especially if you like plot driven BL.

This is one of the best webtoons/manwha's I have ever read. Burning Effect follows the main female character, Burner, where she struggles to survive in a society where everyone is impoverish and any crime dealt, no matter how petty, will be punished with the death penalty. While that is the starting point, as the story goes on, it shows how Burner and her friends are not just fighting for themselves and to save a broken system but their own world. Burner is one of the best female Shounen characters of our time, as the author isn't afraid to show the issues that Burner faces not just as a fighter but as a women. I honestly never felt a character I related to more than Burner and was excited every time she kicked someone's ass. I highly recommend this story to anyone who wants a strong female lead and a unique and dark story about injustice.

Okay, so I am a sucker for Isekai Villainesses and I will say this doesn't DISAPPOINT. MF is reincarnated Villainess who doesn't remember the plot of the novel well AT ALL. (To be fair its a mystery romance novel). So she befriends the ML and it turns out to ~a mistake~. ;o Overall it's one of the better Villainess Isekai's as it takes on a new perspective and angle that other ones don't really do. Recommend reading if your a Villainess Isekai fan like me..
