Ten Count
As a person who suffers with OCD, this is my thoughts on this manga, For the most part I really enjoyed it. I think OCD was depicted very accurately here and you can tell the author either has experience with OCD or did a lot of research for this project. As someone who deals with this in their every day life, accurate representations of what we go through and our thought processes help people understand us and make the world an easier place to live in. I do have a little bit of an issue though, which usually I don't have an issue with in yaoi. **SPOILER** Maybe it's just because I identify with the main character so much but I feel like Kurose was a little too forceful with him at times. I just can't help but imagine the thought process of Shirotani when things first got sexual. In real life, someone with OCD would probably just completely shut down in a situation like that, I know I would. **END OF SPOILER** Another thing to keep in mind if you have OCD and plan on reading this is that this hits close to home. There have definitely been times that this made me cry and contemplate the future I have with OCD. Will I end up like these characters? Can I get better on my own? What if I can't get better? Make sure you're in a good headspace when reading this if you have OCD. (If you have OCD and like yaoi I'd love to be friends so find a way to message me on here - idk how to use this site though).
