takes home a guy asleep in the park with only a violin case under him. these two intereact. the prodigy whom taught himself how to play since young. he can play even without sheet music. has an intensity and rawness to his playing. (he and his teacher clash over this at first. until they teach him, that sheet music is sort of like a deep, personal letter. conveying to others everything you feel deep inside yourself, clear down to your soul.) then we have our sweet day trader, deaf guy. been in relationships, but they all leave him say he seems like he'll be fine without them. he very much has complete control and stability in his daily life. things like alarms on his watch all day long, with his schedule. (works from home) (does free lance as a high paying investor to a friends business too) he has a light that goes off for the door bell. he memorizes the neighborhood and his way around places. he picked a bottom floor apartment, in case of fire. (was scared if there is a fire, he wouldn't hear the alarm) has a text to voice. and voice to text app. writes on notebooks too taught himself to be self- expressive. if he is sad, mad, happy, or troubled. he conveys in in his expression. has a hard time in larger crowds. he can read lips to some extent. but not more than one or two at a time knows sign language. the two meet often at his place crashing out talking. eating. watching movies. talking about their troubles and fears. the musician has made it clear he likes him romantically. but they still spent time as friends (letting him think on it for now) honest to god, good kids (no moves have been made. no kiss or anything) they are respectful and thoughtful <3 LOVE THEM! starting to see him romantically too. he makes him, for the first time ever, want to depend on someone else. they both expand the others worlds the musician feels more understanding of others. takes note of smaller things. his disability is not a thing. not an obstacle for either of them. (has vol.2)

(red haired) kid's brother committed suicide a few years back. he is still struggling to deal with it. going through all the stages. meets this kid. who, like his brother loves jazz, music, playing the piano. plays in a freestyle type of playing. where his joy, his passion, and sadness come through plain as day. same as his brother did. both are obsessed with jazz. know every player, every song, their history. red hair used to be a singer. neither of them have played much anything in public. red-head only really had his brother growing up. no mother or father. -uncle raised them. (uncle is kind and compassionate) he's got a best friend (only friends) by his side all this time. there when he needed him. gave him a push when he needed it. gave the new kid a push when he needed it. spoke up and helped the red-head express himself. whenever he needed it. then backed off and gave them their space too. blonde's family is unloving and broken. parents divorced. mom doesnt want him. or care. refused to let him play. yet, still self-taught himself in other ways. father is barely around. left his family for his lover. thought it was another women comes to light later, it was a male student at the college his dad teaches at. he is a jazz pianist too. top rated one. the other guy he was with, by turn of fate, was the older brother of the red-head. they tumbled and broke apart. he killed himself. while struggling with all of this. -son and his lover only learn this much later. -------------------------- not a great read. worth reading once hate the 2nd couple.
