Ch. 5 (Boring) office worker meets store-clerk when they both rescue a kitten from the river in the pouring rain. his landlord kicked him out for no pets. now store clerk and the cat are living with him temporarily until he can find a new place. all because he keeps his place clean and cooks delicious food.
