one and done

nephew came to stay at his uncles for the summer. and came across a notebook. telling the story of the person his uncle will never forget. we get to see the uncle's love story. picking up a stray that returned his documents to him. as a live in house keeper. (super interested and excited for this)

were friends in middle school. first friend he made after coming from the U.S. (neither of his parents care about him) they are friends, with a clear attraction. each others first love. first time having sex was together. very acutely aware his friend is gay which is funny, i can't call the other one straight either. he's never once looked at a girl, only ever at Ren. Ren is the literal only thing in his eyes. always has been. skips back to present time. meet again after years of being separated at company. where Ren is doing extremely well for himself. company knows he is gay. one woke up after a month in the hospital to discover Ren (black hair - uke) had left for the states without a word. still in love with him and wants answers. Yet, we have Ren, who feels guilty as fuck for feeling like he forced him into having sex with him. (mostly due to him crying. unaware he -kazuma - was crying for joy) immediately the morning after the 1st time they had sex. Ren woke up to Kazuma basically unconscious, and barely breathing in the bed at the love hotel they were at. had to call an ambulence in the morning. the other guy remained comatose with some version of a virus. Ren of course was forced to tell both their parents and the doctors what happened. It of course blew up into a major scandal. His parents disowned him and sent him away. he attempted suicide by cutting his wrists prior to leaving. saw Kazuma unconcious one last time promises to meet him again in Tokyo in the furture. went to America. to study at a fine arts school. enter newest best guy friend (<3 - love him) the guy who yells at him all the time. got him to open up to study. knew what he did by the fresh scar on his wrist. was there for him the entire time. Besties~! now we have these two guys as adults, in a sexual relationship. With Kazuma being an airhead, unaware of ANYTHING that happened in the past. He too, was sent overseas for several years after being comatose for over a month. our Ren is triggered, having PTSD flashes, and still feeling guilty as sin. T_T .....God damn, THE FEELS i hate the blondes mother so much. she still, found and tormented him into leaving as an adult. ripped open all his old wounds once again. poor baby was having a break down, took pills quit his job. disappearred again...... drama, drama. more drama just lost interest... dont read again

brother/best friend passes away. they both always liked each other both were blaming themselves and feeling guilty after the other guy dies. guardian to friends little brother beautiful art beautiful story beautiful characters. really smooth flow. re-read this!!!
