Emperor Erudian is a single child & when the late emperor died he was left living a peaceful & tranquil life where he mostly follow his daily established routine. There aren't a lot of things that can provoke him until recently, the Lebovny's king's ignorance got on his nerves but more than that, Lady Elard has incited persistent fatigue on him who claims herself to be his fiancee. He used to find it okay as Lady Elard's actions keep away nobles from bothering him & he had to keep the magic tower under the imperial household as she is on top of the hierarchy that moves the magic tower but now, he wants to distance himself to her as he feels how snake-like she is wagging her tail & seems that he's the one she loves the most but also seems like she would stab his back anytime. His secretary saw Elard & told her that the palace is restricted. Elard left but she used her black magic on the palace. Erudian then asked his men to prepare cloaks & his horse. Yeni asked if they're in the middle of running away but he said they're in the middle of Yeni kidnapping her lol. They went to town to visit tourist places w/c he said is also him doing inspection at the same time. His men were tasked to discreetly follow them for safety. Black marbles & disguised magicians are suddenly appearing everywhere & he became more suspicious of Elard but thought those are not enough as they're just circumstantial evidences. A black marble suddenly had pulling force towards Yeni & Erudian pulled her towards himself. He brought her to the temple to leave her to safety as he needed to go back to the plaza to further investigate. In the temple, Diego was surprised that Erudian accompanied Yeni to town. Knowing of his iron wall it seemed to him that Erudian cares for her more than anyone else in the 10 yrs he's been serving him. FL keeps rejecting ML to the end as she is scared to love thinking it's betrayal to her plans for her family but in the end their never ending white lies and deceptions to each other that made them both feel betrayed yet defensively thinks that things even out cos of their own deeds was over powered with their love for each other. questionable idea for the father of FL who is a hero but became poor when the royal family could have saved him from his debts. And his wife's debts couldn't have made them so poor as being a hero should have made him extra extra rich next to the royal family. Even though he's sick mentally, the royal family should have kept tabs of him and cured hum when the symptoms were still light. I think the plot for his character is unnecessarily dramatized. I like this webtoon though.

65 Epilogues are f*ckin confusing & not well paced. It's not smooth & properly tailored. Confusing timeline. Makes me wanna give this a 3 at most.
