Then one day Lady diathe, Duke's fiance whom he treats as his lil sister, came who accused them of sodomy as Edward always favors Rino. Rino's was moved to the room beside Edward to strictly monitor and train her. One night Edward contemplated on his actions towards Rino when he saw outside the window that he was trying to escape like Rapunzel. Emperor Barron is very childish & whimsical as a child. In the plot, with no reason, on his way back to the castle he was passed by Edward's territory and decided to kill everyone as Edward was away. Fortunately, Edward was in the castle since Rino has affected the flow of the story. Still, Barron being a wicked brat, came to the castle to annoy Edward. He slashed the guards by the gate, luckily Edward and Cain were brought there by Rino on time. Edward locked Rino in his room guarded by Cain to hide her from Barron but Barron's right hand man, Margo (actually a woman?) wants to defeat Cain on her own as he knows he's very strong. She threw Rino out of the window to fight alone but Rino fell on Barron's horse, grabbed quickly by Edward, but Barron saw Edward's pained look towards Rino, so he quickly got interested in them. Rino vomited on Barron due to the incident lol. Because Edward knew the consequences, he kept her in his room as it's protected by a barrier but as Cain interrupted Edward's somewhat confession, Barron was already behind him. No choice, they all joined Barron's tea party where he exposed his investigation about Rino & knew he's a missing slave. He also accused them of sodomy saying that given he is an envious fellow towards Edward he wants Rino to be his. Both got enraged and Rino couldn't hold back and used the chair function to spring away Barron. As it became a battle for the whole dukedom he still wanted to protect Rino so Edward send her away instead of completely losing her to Barron and told Cain to protect her until they get to a noble estate with close ties to them to get employed through his recommendation letter. He let them use the castle's secret tunnel. En route, Rino realized that events in the story are still happening despite the distorted time flow. Barron will use the secret route to blow up the castle and kill Edward's people. He then used Diathe & House Herera name to gather the 3 noble houses nearby, gathered to hunt, while he and cain dressed up as ladies to save Edward in jail. It was also revealed that the fiance has been wearing wig to hide her red hair which was prejudiced as a witch and slave's hair. In the secret tunnel Rino disarmed the bombs while the 2 silenced knights on patrol. Amidst everything, Edward still wants Rino to be safer and asked her to get a priestess using his insignia to fight Barron. They hid in a gap in the tunnel as Rino protested loudly not to leave Edward's side, Edward couldn't help and kissed Rino. Rino did not protest and Edwards kissed him again. He suddenly sensed Margo nearby but Cain was able to fend him off. Margo grabbed Edward hostage but Cain caught him off guard with the rocket punch and Edward used his swordsmanship as a knight to put him near death. Margo was captured and with the priestess present opened a trial. Barron came rushing in but lady diathe of house herera together with the heads of the 3 houses and their 800 knights requested for the trial and Barron was left in Edward's hands for punishment. He asked for 5 minutes to be his older brother again and be pardoned for his actions. He punched Barron slapped his butt like a baby and Barron acted like a spoiled brat lol! Later on Edward started to avoid Rino and pushes her away to leave the castle which Cain realized. Edward was very obvious to Rino. She can't stand it anymore & decided to use her crazy inventions to trap Edward in his room. Edward felt guilty like he molested Rino as she cannot protest to Edward's actions being of higher status thinking Rino only froze up. Rino got mad and cried in front of him. Edward was enchanted again and couldn't help but fall for her more. Rino cleared things up and kissed Edward. Edward fell for her madly that he would grab her secretly to cuddle or kiss her. One night he went to Rino's room through the window and as they lay in bed he couldn't help his skinship. Funny stuff like Rino using his inventions to stop him Edward happened but the funniest thing is Edward still didn't realize he was a girl. She removed her chest bandage to let him feel his chest on his shirt but he thought it was just a lil chubby. She let him grope it under her shirt & it shocked Ed. She was once again locked in a Cabin but the 2nd prince would visit her & using his magic powers he would get in her room despite the metal bars & helped Hailynn get out of her room to find the pendant & info about her mother in the Count's library. They found her mom's portrait & immediately. Soon after the duke arrived & completed the expedition in 1 month vs the expected 3 mos. The emperor wasn't able to come up w/ a plan yet to fix the issue regarding Hailynn. He has ordered Hailynn to be executed but if she dies his ambition to have the crown prince to marry Hailynn to have more powerful heir & to control tge holy land would not come to fruition. Surprisingly Duke agreed to kill Hailynn w/c shocked the emperor. The emperor knows that the Duke never lies so he asked what's his deal.
