Ch175 Everyone's hating on Rashta even when she was a runaway slave with nothing but her looks to fight with. The real villain here is the emperor who wants to be with women who can't refuse him. First Navier who was raised to be his wife and then Rashta who had nowhere else to go so basically be with the emperor or die as a slave. Her lack of etiquette and bad manners are the direct results of Sovietshi not teaching her any and just throwing her in the middle of the nobles. Rashta probably really thought that Navier would welcome her because as a slave she's learned that no matter what you smile and adapt to the situation. There's no love with no ability to say no and the only power Rashta has is the love of the emperor and on top of that she's carrying all sorts of trauma about her past. She is stupid and vain and desperate but I find it all to be quite human and thats why this story is so good!
