super sad. tinker was born ugly in a world of beautuful people. he lives in the sewers and fixes broken objects to get by. one day a boy brings him a telescope to fix. while tinker is out on his nightly rounds, he sees the boy fall from the window and shatter. he takes the boy back to his workshop and fixes him. he is discovered by the police and as his last act he gives the boy his eyes and kills himself. so sad.
