uke has been in love with his best friend since high school because he was the first person to defend uke and not judge him for being gay. uke never confesses because he doesn't want to lose their relationship. story starts with best friend telling uke he is getting married, uke congratulates him but is devastated. goes to a gay bar to pick someone up and take his mind off things. he rarely dates or has sex because his feelings for his best friend have hurt past boyfriends. a couple guys approach him but he turns them down until a hot seme chats him up and tells him he will make him forget all about his best friend. they have sex, uke wants it to be a ONS but he sees seme at the wedding a few weeks later. they keep running into each other and seme tells uke he just wants to date him and help. him get over best friend. uke is suspicious but over time lets his guard down. they make a bet over who will fall for the other first. turns out this whole relationship was orchestrated by seme and his sister who bestfriend married. sister was suspicious of uke being in love with best friend, asks gay brother seme to distract him and keep him away from best friend. seme treats dating like a game and only likes the chase. when uke finds out the truth he wants nothing to do with seme. despite seme treating it like a game, the relationship and uke meant more to him than he realizes and he loses his shit. ultimately they get back together and i really don't get why, seme barely repents and uke is just like oh okay i miss you. bleh.
