shonen ai - suggestive but no smut. while on a driving trip to malta, uke talks shit about the story of calypso who kidnapped odysseus for 7 years. while diving, calypso's attendants snatch uke and take him to calypso's island in the realm of the gods. initially calypso wanted to harm uke but he found him amusing and kept him around. they grow closer and develop feelings. one of calypso's attendants is jealous of uke and tells uke he can take him back to the human realm if he eats the lotus fruit. the lotus fruit is poisonous and uke is dying so calypso exchanges his source of power - his hair - for the antidote. when zeus finds out calypso brought another human to the realm of the gods, he orders the human to be returned. devastated, they comply but calypso promises to love uke forever and find a way to reunite. calypso drinks a potion that will make him human in exchange for his soul. zeus agrees to let calypso go to the human realm and to allow them to live together forever but in exchange he must wait a year and return to the realm of the gods when they're ready. they reunite and live together in korea. uke writes a best selling book about his story with calypso and becomes famous. calypso works as a delivery man. uke decides after a year of fame and not having enough time for each other that it's time to go to the realm of the gods. when they return, everyone they ever knew in the human realm forgets their existence. upon returning, they are married in front of the gods and uke becomes a god himself. not bad but would have liked more development.
