alpha x alpha. uke is an alpha from a noble family, as a result his life is mapped out, he only has sex with omegas during his rut. because of the pressure, he has started to be unable to preform. doctor tells him its psychological and recommends he sleeps with an alpha on the receiving end to remove pressure. several years ago on new years eve in times square, uke was approached by another alpha at midnight and kissed. it left a deep impression on him and he never forgot that moment. following the doctor's advice, uke is introduced to alpha seme who is the same man he kissed all those years ago. it doesn't seem like seme remembers him so he doesn't bring it up, the work out a contract of sleeping together 8 times over 2 months. uke is awkward and unsure of how to treat seme and makes it clear there will be no unnecessary emotions, seme agrees and tells him he won't be falling in love with him and that this is just a favor. throughout their time together, uke is confused by seme treating him so well and starts developing feelings for him. he finds himself missing seme and actually smiling, people around him notice how much happier he is. in an effort to convey his feelings, uke finds the painting that is very important to seme but hasn't seen since his mother died. when he goes to confess his feelings to seme, he overhears seme telling people that they have no relationship and that they aren't dating. devastated, uke instead tells seme that he is calling off their arrangement. uke's grandfather arranges an omega for uke to marry. uke tries to bottle up his feelings and just proceed with the plan his family has laid out for him. meanwhile seme finally confronts his feelings for uke and realizes he has been in love with him for a long time. he finds out that uke is engaged and is having an engagement party so he goes to see him. he confesses his feelings to uke but uke has closed off his heart and knows he cannot give in. he ends up fainting from the pressure of the engagement, his mother apologizes for how she raised him and tells him she has called off the engagement and wants uke to follow his heart. uke and seme get together and start living together. things are good but there are a lot of misunderstandings due to uke's innocent and quiet nature and seme not being uofront about his feelings. ultimately they are very happy. good smut, decent story.
