MC is reborn into a novel she read in her previous life. She remembers that fact after injuring her head by being shoved down the stairs, by no other than her evil step-sister. Classic. Using her knowledge from mentioned novel, she changes her fate and uses it to rise in rank and power. If you are fresh to these kind of slay girl boss who got reincarnated stories, then you'll have a decent time reading this I think. But if you are aware of the dozens of cliches this story commits to, then tough luck. I read the first 30 chapters when only those were available here, then forgot about its existence, and came back to read from the start again with its now 100+ chapters... I'm having a hard time reading through this without feeling the primal urge to skip a few pages- and chapters. By god, MC went from being quiet and angsty, to confident and elegant in a matter of max 3 pages. And then you're supposed to buy that she's this smart business woman, when her personality so far is basically just a white dotted outline. We know she knows this and that, that she can sew and stuff, but that aint personality, I think a lot of readers forget that. In the end all of her interactions and thoughts feel like the bare minimum. Honestly, all of the characters feel half-baked like that. The demon prince was interesting, and I still think he's the least coma inducing out of all the other love interests, but that man ends up drying up in no time. Anyway, TLDR: This is for pure indulgance and if you seek for anything deeper, than pretending like you're the MC, you can do MUCH better elsewhere.

This Time I Will Definitely Be Happy

Complete | Fujimaru mamenosuke / saiki rico | 2000 released

First of all, this is an amazing take on the reincarnation/isekai cliche. I cried like a b*tch during multiple chapters. It's very much still cliche though, there's this "girl is modest, girl only do magic and men fight" kind of undertone to it, but I think the bigger is the GIANT PLOTHOLE THAT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT??? WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT IT??? This awful Goddess was able to cockblock a holy deathray from this priestress and basically skype called both FL and the hero no problem all the time... WHY DIDN'T SHE DO ANYTHING TO HELP FL'S FIRST LIFE FROM MESSING UP THE DEMON SOUL CLEANSING!? NVM THAT, WHY DIDN'T SHE INTERFERE THE OTHER REINCARNATIONS' TRAGEDIES BEFORE THE WORLD WAS UNABLE TO HANDLE MORE MAGIC? I also do not understand why the heroes and the demon king are connected. It was explained that Marcus absorbed the demon king's soul and became the second demon king that way, and then the Goddess bestowed new vessel powers to another dude to fight him (btw why even do that?) - so how are these new heroes even connected to the demon king? The author made these magic shenanigans so convoluted and twisted that they contradict each other in the end. It would've been better if the Goddess was a no-show and/or just powerless. Her involvement alone kind of destroys my enjoyment of the story. Man, I was so mad when she talked about how Jun just got karma'd by the universe for being resentful when she is the sheer cause of this bullshittery, and the only one who is truely able to change shit but doesn't. I didn't finish complaining about the Goddess either, there's still at least 2 more complaints and contradictions I can point out about her. The author wrote themselves into a corner trying to make so much magic fate destiny shit up. Alone the whole thing about Jun's friends becoming her protective patrons or whatever is so out of left field. Then there's this random comment from the Goddess saying MC's current lover/hero could become a demon king, even though the demon king's soul is cleansed and gone. What? They just kept adding more tragic magic mechanics and ended up with a mess. From a objective view it would've been better to stick to a simple magic formula instead of creating some epic crescendo. Please hate that Goddess with me. But alas, I still love the story and will reread it again. The ending alone makes my heart melt.

Kill the Villainess

Complete | Haegi,Your april | 2021 released

MC got isekai'd into a shitty romance novel as the villainess and instead of adapting to the world, she seeks to leave it behind no matter the cost. The premise of the story's unique, the execution is good as well. An interesting perspective that is executed well imo. And there's also a bunch of other concepts like witches and fates that have a unique twist. Also love that the original heroine isn't made out to be the MC's (aka the villainess') main opponent, but still has a complicated relationship with her... they all have interesting relationships with each other. *Chef's kiss*
