The Abandoned Empress
The FL who is claimed to be the faited partner of the Emperor, gets replaced by the true fated partner who is a girl from another world. FL goes through a bunch of horrible shit and for some reason ends up being framed as the villainess who commited treason. Yada yada, Uno time reverse card ensues and this time around she tries to avoid that fate of hers and gives god the finger. Ofc the Emperor/crown prince is the ML, I wish not. She should've gone for the red haired cutie, fml.
The Young Lady Can't Escape From Her Doting Husband ♡
Tsunderu Moto Akuyaku Reijou wa Do S Ouji-sama kara Nigedashitai
Everything was a Mistake
Some soap opera worthy drama and a bunch of misunderstandings that make my heart CLENCH in pain and frustration. Literally no communication between characters who desperately need it. During confrontations between opposing sides you'll expect that FL's side walks away with some info on ML's situation/feelings- or at least a hint that they're walking through mud when a pathed sidewalk was right next to them- but NOPE. It seems that Deodorent is dead set on believing everyone and everything that isn't ML himself. It's hard to keep up with how many things got lost in translation and it only gets worse because FL and her squad keep on walking into more misinformation, which probably builds into a climax that'll only make me facepalm and moan instead of bringing relief. At least the title is accurate, I can give the author that.
The Duchess with an Empty Soul
Remarried Empress
An ok shoujo story for what it's worth, but imho horribly overrated too. There's little else to the story besides feeling catharsis over Navier's wins. After she remarries and leaves her problems (aka ex-husband and two-faced mistress) behind I stopped caring for much. There's little to no substance besides seeing Navier slay while Sovieshu and Rashta slowly spiral downwards. It's enjoyable for sure, I enjoyed myself for a good while, but it's not enough with THIS many chapters out and about. The bad guys are just the bad guys and everyone that's good likes Navier in one way or the other. The basic ingredients are all there, it's just that the cook is refusing to do anything interesting with them. I have to agree with that one comment, it really is a power fantasy. Navier never loses and stays perfect while everyone who wronged her swan-dives into despair almost instantly. It felt like part of her character as a careful and dignified ruler first but it's a turn-off for me now that it's revealed to just all be shallow story telling. That doesn't mean the story is shit, just that it's overstaying its welcome and refusing to become more interesting over time.
