People are weird, it's a story. Y'all being too far in hating the girl child. I get y'all's bias towards the ml, but didn't the author say children are more prone to recognise if anything amiss. The girl is a smart one, and the ml even though he's a child, he becomes a villain in the main story, so ofc theres some cracks in his mind. His explanations and monologues are kinda weird too, so if you're going by that logic of hating a child just because, y'all should find faults in the ml too.
