half blood vampire needs to have sex to survive and ends up hooking up with his boss tht has a crush on him. he finds out tht he can't survive any more off of sex and has to find out a way to make sure he doesn't die while also falling for his boss.

super cute reporter guy is trying to solve an unusual murder case involving bite marks and finds out tht vamps exist and tht his best friend is also one. he also happens to be protected by his friend's family bc of a certain quality he has as well. they end up getting together bc of this quality which eventually helps with them ending up together.
