I read this ages ago, and it was worth rereading because every time I came back to it it was more built out. The premise is dodgy as heck but the asides are what made it- the as versions really drive their current actions and I'm less mad at the weirdly heteronormative vibes because they really do just deserve a peaceful existence. The kids are also pretty cute and I really appreciate that Hosik's closest friend is kind of a total bitch. Weird but honestly still pretty cute.
