LOVE the character development and redemption! It's quite a chilling and twisted story at times but also emotional and heartwarming. Taehwa and another dude are real bastards in the beginning and treats poor Minjae horribly, but the way they grow and try to make up for it is gold. Love redemption arcs. The storytelling is superb! I LOVE IT! It's such an interesting story with amazing characters. Although I've read some other stories with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) or as it's more commonly called multiple personalities, it has never been in so much focus. And it's not like I go to my yaoi trying to get a psychology degree but I actually learned a lot! I think it was actually the translator who went above and beyond explaining the condition. It does still fetishise the condition to some extent but it's a story so I think it's okay. Anyway it's kind of like a weird triangle drama even though the different identities are in the same person. Love all the characters. The seme really cares for the uke. And the sexy scenes are amazing too!

Why are there so many bastard semes out there who just continue to abuse, control and humiliate their ukes without any consequences, but as soon there is a bastard uke he will have to be cowed and dragged from grace? (Spoilers) This uke lost everything and basically ended up as the some's slave. Are there ever revenge plots where the ukes take revenge in a similar manner for being mistreated? Or is the misery reserved for ukes? As in women (or anyone taking the woman's role) shouldn't dare to be in a position of power and if they are they will eventually be punished? (maybe I took it too far but isn't it kinda true?) Maybe an unpopular opinion but neither of the MC's were good people. People seem to hate on Jaehyun and root for Sangwoo. While I think it was messed up of Jaehyun to expose Sangwoo like that for entertainment they are BOTH terrible. Sangwoo DID sleep with his boss's daughter. It's not like he was framed for it. He was exposed. Sangwoo tried to use Jaehyun for his career so their relationship was kinda give and take (and he did get some money and promotions out of it if I didn't misunderstand that. Even if it was less than he hoped for). And most of all, he WAS AN ASS TO HIS MUM! He not only didn't help her when she was abused, he even looked down on her, avoided her and pretended not to know her. Terrible! I did think the beginning was interesting though, with the uke being in power for once (too bad it didn't last). Also, if one looks past when the uke was selling himself, there was actually more seme on uke blowjobs. Quite unusual. Incredibly sad and quite horrible at times but also heartwarming. Some characters you just love (main characters, good cop, grandma <3) and some you hate with burning passion (bad cop, K, rapist). Honestly it was kinda sad throughout the story and the end was even more tragic, but then the last chapter was balm to my soul. Generally great storytelling although there were some important unanswered questions left at the end. I liked the raw and realistic feel to the story. Interesting and unusual with a tragic, cute and dependent top with the bottom as a sort of caretaker/"saviour".
