Love everything about this! One of my absolute favourite female leads and favourite mangas/manhwas of all time! Hong is hardworking, smart and analytical. She can stand up for herself and others when she needs to. Definitely a role model!
The problems she deals with are also grounded in reality which I appreciate, slackers in school work, stalkers, unfair treatment from family and so on. It's not too over the top and you can definitely relate while still being full of drama and suspense.
Other characters are amazing as well. Everyone is so 3-dimensional and feel like actual people. The interactions between characters is one of the strong points of this story.
And the author is THE BEST when it comes to "show not tell". Anlgles and expressions show you the feelings and moods better than words ever could. One of the best romances I've read!
The story have a lot of flashbacks. At first I wasn't sure what to think of it since I feel it can sometimes slow down the story, but I in the end when all the dots connect and you finally understand the characters and how things came to be the way they are it's such a perfect moment.
