The Origin Of Love
I LOVE this! The story is intriguing, the art is beautiful and the characters are wonderful! I love how they feel so 3-dimensional and realistic. The story also delves a bit deeper into some characters where several chapters are about their backstory. Haven't read a straight romance story in a while since I think the stories are often very vain and childish with overly bright colours that might be pretty but ends up only giving it a children fairytale vibe. But this FL is SO GOOD! She's strong, intelligent and reflective without feeling like a Mary Sue. The ML is also perfect. LOVE how stoic he can appear yet super cute when he blushes. Love the dynamic between the FL and ML. Nothing is rushed and it's beautiful to see their relationship develop. Oh and I also love that the FL actually has a bit darker skintone. Extremely rare. Especially in romance. Shouldn't be special but I feel that it's actually kinda progressive. Actually got this recommended after asking for dark skinned FLs. The story actually treats some gender equality aspects as well. Like the need for women to be pretty and for women to give up everything once they get married. I love that. It also felt natural with the story and not forced. I love how the main characters notice and reflect on these things, pretty uncommon. Only sad thing is that it's dropped. I think there are some more chapters in Korean but ultimately it was dropped there too apparently. Extremely sad. But I think it's worth reading anyway since it ends at a relatively satisfying place.
Draig Mid Knight
Cute dragon seme! <3 Liked the fantasy setting. Kinda rushed though. Especially how the uke fell in love with the seme so fast and was basically (spoiler) ready to leave his family for him after only a few days. Also a strange relationship between the (adoptive) brother and the father. Didn't like the brother. I guess he was supposed to be redeemed at the end but he was a straight up creepy asshole to the prostitute be bought and that he pretended to be the father. The uke was okay, kinda typical nice and innocent, but at least he had some status amongst his peers being a skilled knight. He was also supposedly a very good swordsman, although they didn't focus on that much. In general a cute story, had some darker elements but not too deep. Only uke on seme bj but got some rim jobs at least. (rev 11) (30 both ish) (2)

A bit mixed feelings about this one. Good interesting start but became a very cheesy towards the end. Some people are upset about the slavery but I think it was handled pretty well. It was always portrayed as something horrible and a big plot point was to abolish the slavery. I liked that the one with the highest social power was actually the uke since it's almost always the reverse. Not that it prevented (spoiler) the seme from raping him though... which was messed up. Well at least he apologised and tried to make up for it and their next session was consensual and all about pleasing the uke. So I'm satisfied. I was less invested towards the end though. All the drama was resolved too quickly and easily and everything was a bit too cheesy and cute. Simply put it lacked depth. And there were some loose ends. There was also two side couples. Hated the first one (old abusive slave owner x slave) but the second one was good. Beautiful and unique art!
