Twin (Ellen) gets adopted by Marquis with older son (Edwin) due to his believed involvement as a witness to a murder. Later it is revealed that the twin who actually witnessed the murder was Lai, who is being pursued by Prince Hector. Lai suffers from drug-induced amnesia and has trouble remembering his past self, including when he first met the Prince.
