Her father's mental state has deteriorated. The butler, her childhood friend, has obviously missed her. Her stepmom & stepbrother are obviously trying to take over the viscounty. She goes to her aunt for help. Her aunt hates her family bc she couldn't stop the marriage & death of her sister (FL's mother). On the way, she gains the loyalty of a young flying unicorn. Although first threatened with death by her aunt, she convinces her to help protect her sister & get revenge on the stepmom & brother. Stepmom has been poisoning FL's sister & father with a rare herb that causes addiction & delirium. She also poisoned her mother (who she was previously "friends" with), causing her death. They will make their move during the succession ceremony of her stepbrother, which the duke will also be attending. They successfully reveal the poisoning & the 2 are arrested. Duke officially announces her as his fiancé, which gives her another problem to deal with. They head to the capital & are attacked by Lizardmen, who seem to have killed the stepmother. The egg hatches into a spirit that can transform into any weapon. FL goes to the Duke's house to find clues. She gets him drunk, chokeholds him, and finds a mysterious coded note. He thinks they messed around tho lol. He begins having feelings for her & its revealed that he had a tragic background (too bad you're not ML lol) She goes to the temple & meets the god, who seems quite cruel. "I brought you to this world to prove that you can't change anything, here or there."
