This has been a very, very difficult read so far but I am a fan of it for its realistic depiction of dealing with the aftermath of rape. A lot of yaoi/BL glosses over this trope quite a bit, and I believe it’s more so done to keep us readers from feeling wildly uncomfortable. I try to avoid angst, even more so when it deals with matters that leaves the MC an emotional and mental wreck, but this is very gripping. There is a lot of comedic relief but it hits you with a ton of bricks once the story reminds you that, no, this is not meant to be a comedic and romantic tale. My heart hurts very much for the MC and the other two ML. I hope they all find happiness, MC especially, even if it’s not with one another. .
