Came for a wank, stayed for the surprisingly well-written romance. Pleasantly surprised, my standards are usually on the ground for BL.

Generic ugly art, uninspired sex scenes, love interest sucks. Half the time I was distracted by the poorly used clip studio paint assets. All things expected with this author, I don't get the hype.

Seme actually has character traits beyond tall and mean, which I appreciate, plus he actually loves and cares for the uke a lot. The twink's not a total doormat (he really made the seme work for it towards the end there. good for him, good for him.), I also appreciate the characters actually being gay/bi and openly rejecting the stupid "I'm straight but I fell in love with a guy". Genuinely a modern classic in terms of bl manhwa. This author knows how to write a seme and now has permanently ruined my standards.

And if I said she's an icon? A martyr before her time? A piece of art so pure that our corrupted species doesn't deserve? You cannot outdo the doer.

Ah yes, my favorite trope of the main couple going through the generic yaoi plot points and the side situationship being 10x more interesting and messy.
