i can see why people drop this story and why they can find it frustrating, but i ain’t mad at it. At first, I was annoyed by the uke and how dismissive he was. I was also a lil taken aback that they were brothers (not by blood) and sleeping together. As I continued reading, I couldn’t stop and literally pulled an all-nighter. I’m happy with the ending and glad that Haesoo and Joowon communicated how they felt. As for Taku, his ending is favorable bc he never really wanted more until the end, and he knew since the beginning it was never going to be him. i enjoyed this, as I’m someone who likes a complicated story with misunderstandings :) 3/2/22

2/29/24 ch47: I don't feel bad for empathizing with Jingi on these times, even if he is a criminal and an asshole, the death of a MOTHER more than anything is such a gut-wrenching feeling, i don't desire that to anyone, and no less to Jingi that loved his mother...im so sad he could not complete his sentence in time... Im really liking the progress Myeong and Jingi are having, or at least on this chapter, they understood each other silently and on a way Jingi letting Myeongii pat him was his way of saying "thank you" and i love that a lot - It's actually such a sad story… Jingi was just 1 year away from getting out of prison, but he couldn't even make it in time to see her one more time, and now he never will... Jingi being buried in the cold snow is such a sad portrayal of his grief :'(( it's so quiet. He's been in prison all this time never seeing his mom, but he dreams of her very night, and Myeong-il even encouraged him to greet his mom one day once he was out of prison.
