SPOILER ALERT: read at your discretion. This comment is for volume 1. I read other people's comments and I think y'all give Hase(Taichi) too many passes. He was 110% in the wrong. I understand it takes 2 to tango, but definitely Taichi was out here with the poorest level of communication I've seen on someone, ever. Which I understand in terms of character development, but I don't think this man had really redeemed himself by the end where Naoto is going out with him again. I read comments where people said Naoto was stuck in the past and he didn't look hard enough to see Taichi had changed and that Taichi really reflected and changed. But I disagree. I wouldn't say the reason why they couldn't get together and get past a certain point was because Naoto was stuck in the past, I know it was 110% BECAUSE Taichi didn't tell Naoto what he was feeling. Exactly what he told Fumi, he SHOULD HAVE said to Naoto. Nao isn't a mind reader. I know it's hard to talk about how you feel, but Tachi owes Nao AT LEAST that much for being an asshole in the past. And Taichi definitely took him for granted. Not only did Nao help bring Taichi out his shell in HS, he made himself a pillar of support for Taichi with his parents. Yeah it's cute and shit he remembered his favorite drink I guess, and that he enrolled in the university because he wanted to find him again, but I honestly see nothing redeeming. I even lost more respect and actually got irritated at Taichi when he raped him. This was not an almost-rape. Clearly he hasn't really changed all that much and instead he's even more possessive and violent but okay. Taichi contributes nothing to Naoto other than sex. Like I said, I understand I don't have to like someone at the beginning. But I've become protective of Naoto and Taichi did him dirty. I know volume 2, someone else is gonna be after him, and although I know it's not gonna happen, I hope it's someone with better communication skills and can be someone that can fulfill Naotos emotional and physical needs. Cuz my baby don't deserve whatever Taichi was offering in the beginning. I know we all have different preferences for an ideal relationship. But I'm the type of person that don't take shit from no one and I'm not here to teach an adult how to be an adult. I understand he got better but seriously lost my respect after handling my baby like that. And even after he never gave a proper apology. At this point I understand I'm just projecting. Taichi is not bad, but I really wish we could see him ACTUALLY repent and feel guilty and bad about this actions. That apology for the rape was over text and even when he tried to apologise for back in highschool, you're just so late Taichi and half assed. but that's me. And That's like my $1 comment lol. I give it a 3, if I remove that rape chapter, I'd give it a 3.5 or 4. Love the author, I guess it's not my cup of tea.

I always occasionally come back and re-read this. It's really a great manga.

Unfortunate scenes of rape between the two MLs. They fall in love tho. It's not my cup of tea but the art is pretty sexy and beautiful. I love the main character, he's very strong and reliable. There's another story. And it's funnier with an alien involved (not in the sexy scenes thankfully lol). It's between two childhood friends. It's short and cute.

Got me in the first half but it's pretty messed up
