consensual and SO interesting, love all of the characters update: i dont know for what REASON people do this but there is an unplanned somnophilia scene in the latest chapters (which means at least dubcon) and although luckily the sleeping party seemed super fine with it it's still not okay so beware

at first i thought, eh, this is alright, probably a 3 star. but it got so good out of nowhere. it's so rare to see a manhwa do a good job in portraying toxic relationships and this one nailed it. i hope that blonde motherfucker goes to hell. besides, the author did a great job in making me care for both of the mcs and im so glad they're together and happy!!! that bit where the mc talks about how he feels anxious like he's done something bad when he goes out in the rain, like he's gonna get scolded, is so real to me. really, a fucking good job. also, there is a lot of sex here lol

THIS WAS A FOUND GEM. extremely cute art style, the premise and the execution are so interesting, 100% likeable characters and 100% consensual sex AND 100% CONSENSUAL BDSM... i couldn't ask for more. love this

it's weak. it's the best way to describe it. it's a decent premise but it's executed in such a way that it's nothing but a weak story full of nothing (130 chapters and counting???? talk about being PACKED WITH EMPTINESS); to be honest, it doesn't even work well as a slice of life. in the beginning, i honestly didn't really believe in their relationship. the author failed to make haebom seem like he wanted that relationship, so i wasn't hyped for them getting together at all. the development was so bland i didn't get to be in love with their love; although i had it in mind they love each other, i didn't feel it, therefore i didn't connect with the story. while haebom's character is okay at best, taesung seems to only exist in dependence to him; he doesn't have personal goals, his whole personality is being in love with this man and that's so not what i wanna read in a manhwa protagonist. don't get me started on the sex. i feel like this is one of those manhwas that don't need it at all (to be honest, a lot of the things weren't needed since this thing HAS NO PLOT); say it with me, people: it doesn't have to have sex to be good. this one, unfortunately, does. A LOT. they start fucking like rabbits out of NOWHERE; the author fails to build the story to make you anticipate and look forward to it, or, AT THE VERY LEAST, see some sense on Why You Are Reading A Sex Scene Right Now. now, no problem with this if i had actually picked up porn to read, but i didn't; it's a whole story, so it should be built like it. and it's so disappointing, cause this is usually the one thing you can trust writers not to miss, since, you know, it's sex. but it doesn't stop there: THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HAEBOM IS COERCED TO HAVE SEX IS VERY CONCERNING. thoughts like "let's get this over with" and lines that clearly announce he's at least not comfortable with the situation and go IGNORED by taesung not only make me, as a reader, uncomfortable in reading the scene and wanting to save haebom from that situation, but also adds to the impression of their relationship having no flavor to it whatsoever, no reason for me to root for them. and make me dislike that bland soup of a white haired man. i just won't say it was a waste of time because it distracted my mind, but overall, if you aren't insane like i am, search for something decent to read. alien in my closet has 1/5 of chapters and does everything 100 times better it's the on or off that went wrong. i wont elaborate

so this is quite nice! it ends too abruptly and leaves me wondering a lot of things, but i guess it's just because im not used to open-ended manhwas. all in all, this is a great concept, the characters are appealing and even though the story is pretty focused on the relationship, their individualities are pretty clear. i dont like that ex boyfriend person though. dont trust him. either way, this is super smutty, but 100% consensual. it's cool!

just because i gave it 3 stars, doesn't mean it's bad! it's just very simple, a super quick read with not much substance to it. still cute though!
