it's weak. it's the best way to describe it. it's a decent premise but it's executed in such a way that it's nothing but a weak story full of nothing (130 chapters and counting???? talk about being PACKED WITH EMPTINESS); to be honest, it doesn't even work well as a slice of life. in the beginning, i honestly didn't really believe in their relationship. the author failed to make haebom seem like he wanted that relationship, so i wasn't hyped for them getting together at all. the development was so bland i didn't get to be in love with their love; although i had it in mind they love each other, i didn't feel it, therefore i didn't connect with the story. while haebom's character is okay at best, taesung seems to only exist in dependence to him; he doesn't have personal goals, his whole personality is being in love with this man and that's so not what i wanna read in a manhwa protagonist. don't get me started on the sex. i feel like this is one of those manhwas that don't need it at all (to be honest, a lot of the things weren't needed since this thing HAS NO PLOT); say it with me, people: it doesn't have to have sex to be good. this one, unfortunately, does. A LOT. they start fucking like rabbits out of NOWHERE; the author fails to build the story to make you anticipate and look forward to it, or, AT THE VERY LEAST, see some sense on Why You Are Reading A Sex Scene Right Now. now, no problem with this if i had actually picked up porn to read, but i didn't; it's a whole story, so it should be built like it. and it's so disappointing, cause this is usually the one thing you can trust writers not to miss, since, you know, it's sex. but it doesn't stop there: THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HAEBOM IS COERCED TO HAVE SEX IS VERY CONCERNING. thoughts like "let's get this over with" and lines that clearly announce he's at least not comfortable with the situation and go IGNORED by taesung not only make me, as a reader, uncomfortable in reading the scene and wanting to save haebom from that situation, but also adds to the impression of their relationship having no flavor to it whatsoever, no reason for me to root for them. and make me dislike that bland soup of a white haired man. i just won't say it was a waste of time because it distracted my mind, but overall, if you aren't insane like i am, search for something decent to read. alien in my closet has 1/5 of chapters and does everything 100 times better it's the on or off that went wrong. i wont elaborate

so this is quite nice! it ends too abruptly and leaves me wondering a lot of things, but i guess it's just because im not used to open-ended manhwas. all in all, this is a great concept, the characters are appealing and even though the story is pretty focused on the relationship, their individualities are pretty clear. i dont like that ex boyfriend person though. dont trust him. either way, this is super smutty, but 100% consensual. it's cool!

there are no words to how much of a shitshow this manhwa is. i made it through 38 chapters because ive heard so much about how lovely the secondary couple is, but i couldn't stand the amount of abusive and rapey moments this thing has. i can sympathize with furries, people with piss kinks, hell, even con-non-con, but i cannot bring myself to imagine how in the surface of this god-loving earth someone would come to like alex. he's a god-awful person if i've ever seen one. and no, i don't care that he was cheated with, to be honest, the way he acts has no redemption. he has no respect for dg and sees him as less than an object, a trap doll he can just bend and fold to his own liking, which would be fine if both parties were lucid, in a safe context, in agreement and into it. but it's clearly not the case here. there is not A SINGLE SEX SCENE between the two of them in which dg doesn't ask for him to stop or to wait. and he doesn't. if there were a bingo on this site of how many rapey situations these authors are able to manufacture, it'd be one hell of a competition, but no doubt this would be one of its most promising contenders. the scene in which alex FORCES dg to do """bdsm""" play (its not real bdsm, to be honest, theres no good portrail of bdsm in this ) made me so uncomfortable i wanted to vomit. anyway, to sum it up, i have no respect or appreciation for alex's character whatsoever; there is no dark past that could bring me to like him even just a tiny bit. he earned my utmost contempt, congratulations. it doesn't get any lower than this. dg, on the other hand, is quite annoying and unbelievably clueless about everything, but honestly, he's never done anything to make me hate him, he's never harmed anyone. but the fact he keeps making up excuses and giving into whatever the fuck alex wants gives me killing stalking vibes (NOT what you wanna go for when not making a not-a-tiny-bit-romantic-horror-filled-thriller) and only makes me dislike this more. now, the second couple does sound promising in comparison to the absolute freakfest the main not-couple has, but honestly, whatever the hell is happening in the 38th chapter blew me off. for now im too pissed off to get through all of alex's bullshit so it's a pass. and a 1 star. i'd give it zero if i could. no redeeming qualities around here, get circulating boyos. if you guys want some streamer-watcher shenanigans, please, redirect yourselves to full volume. it's not a perfect manhwa and there are some very icky nonconsensual scenes, but none of them is between the couple if i remember correctly. beware anyway. nonetheless, full volume, in comparison to this, fell out of heaven right onto our hands, blessed and with almighty power, a delight to the eyes. you can probably tell, these manhwas are starting to lower my standards. sigh.

this author is THE SHIT when it comes to making smut. junai drop out is excellent in this sense and so is this. i'm not much of a fan of one-chapter couples being shoved into the middle of the main story for one shots, and it happens twice here (i know the first one has their own manga). but hey, they were super fine too, and i'll take beautiful art, consent and communication smut anytime, anywhere. hot as fuuuuuuuck also, might seem silly but i love that we actually have a soft dick shot here. not because its a kink or anything but because even though its such a natural part of sex its so rare to see in mangas. it warms my heart, unironically.

i love yuri on ice (who doesn't) and this is a super-cute-super-smutty rendition of their relationship. absolutely love the cuts with the common hardships having sex usually brings to the couple, such as the head banging on the wall and having to stop and begin again for some reason or another. also loved the scene where they do the douching together, it's a great tool for showing their intimacy and how mutually invested they are in having sex and making each other feel good. the katsudon puns are a little outdated by now, sure, but i can get past it. sweet and short and consensual! love it!

okay so i'm not gonna lie ... i really like this. especially, i like geonwoo. i really like his character, i can't deny it. he's such a cold person but demonstrates affection so warmly, he's super rough with words but also very honest and straight-forward, doesn't let misunderstandings unfold and cuts right to the chase. he's really cool, i like him a lot. about the story itself, well, it's been done considerably, but i guess his character is so appealing i ended up finding the story appealing too, afterall, if there is one shortcut to making me like a story, it's making good characters. wanna see where this goes so i'll look forward to it! i always comment the sex so here it goes: it's cool, i like it that euijoon often expresses how much he loves whats going on (although at times he does it right AFTER saying its too much or something like that, i really don't get why this has to happen) and overall they seem to be on the same page most of the time. if you see that i'm using generalizing terms here, its for a reason. if you want something 100% sorted out everytime, i wouldn't go for this. there is some level of ambiguity sometimes.

this is quite nice! the bdsm portrayal isn't perfect but it's still satisfactory. quite a lot of kinks explored here, even water sports, although very briefly, would you look at that! very satisfactorily consensual since they have a safeword and after one scene they get an equivalent gesture too, and although there are scenes in the future where they break they "not tie hands & block mouth at the same time" rule, i guess i'd be asking for too much from a manhwa to be this decent. it's already cool comparing with others of the genre. also, there's this scene on the bonus chapters with unplanned somnophilia that icks me and really would be better if didn't happen. since it's a bonus, i guess you could ignore it, but it's still part of the story so it's totally valid to feel put off by it. i know i do. overall, as i said, it doesn't portray bdsm perfectly, but it is more than decent most of the time, congrats! i love the character designs and fairly enjoyed the characters themselves. the plot isn't much, just an ordinary love story, but still lovely with these mcs. not amazing, but a pleasant read

BUT BEHOLD, because it's actually very good. it's not an extraordinary plot, but still, it's such a nicely told story. i believe i've never read a manhwa make a better use of those square bubbles in my life. this is so well written that it feels like i'm reading an illustrated novel. the writing is beautiful and bittersweet, so attentive to detail. i feel like that truly is the high point of this manhwa. but the illustrations themselves are not at all disposable. the art is really nothing special, but it is well drawn and the color scheme was very well chosen. as for the characters, they also didn't amaze me as their personalities are overall pretty bland, but they were deeply and beautifully developed and got me hoping to see how they would turn out. there were some annoying plot points here and there, the kind that make you go "jesus christ why does it have to be so complicated", so this one might appeal to my people who love some pining out there. besides, this man is so out of his mind for the protagonist that i honestly couldn't help to find him very cute. and the woman whose name i have already forgotten by now as is my talent is very realistic. i especially like her unexpectedly naughty moments, and honestly was super duper cock blocked by the slight demonstrations of domme behavior that never fulfilled truly. i guess it's my fault for being too hopeful. besides that, there's a lot of sex here, mostly consensual, but the bits that aren't are important and integrated into the story. beware anyways. overall, beautiful story, congrats.
