Hanakoi Tsurane
No number of words can wholly describe how much I love this manga! As expected of Natsume-sensei to create such endearing characters! I hope Junpei and Shuugo become a couple soon!
Mister Gravure
An amazing little gem I discovered by a recommendation. Certainly looking forward to seeing how the story progresses! X3
Sado no Otoko o Otosu Houhou
Fuuta is super adorable and I do enjoy yaoi with gay parents, but Shuuta should really be more careful. I'll continue reading and see how it progresses.
Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki
The spin-off manga to 'Minori no Te' didn't disappoint me. It was cute, and hot and everything I like in a yaoi. Kudos to the author for writing such compelling stories!
Kono Oto Tomare!
An excellent coming of age story with gorgeous art featuring a rag-tag bunch of misfits growing and bonding together over the koto, a traditional Japanese instrument. While the group faced problems now and then, the heartwarming bond and camaraderie that the group members develop help them to overcome all trials and grow stronger, wiser and more confident in their own abilities. This story is an interesting read, that I'd definitely recommend!
Sore wa Boku no Ai ja Nai
I really liked this story! I'm so happy Kazunobu got tohether with Takashi. Its hard to be related to someone whose brighter than you, so I can understand and relate with Kazunobu to an extent. I'm glad he found somebody who loves him for who he is.
At the End of the Road
The story was interesting, as it seems like the author has a good understanding of the most irredeemable aspects of the human condition. I found it interesting how s/he was able to utilise her/his understanding of the human condition and write a story this dark and disturbing. Most of the characters, save TaeMin and Hoon seriously need therapy. Even though I could empathise with Jiwook, I found his methods of dealing with his inferiority complex to be reprehensible, so he deserved the ending that the author penned out for him. I enjoyed the story, though the grim aspects of the story disturbed me enough that I want therapy myself. However, the way the story ended was extremely abrupt, so I think that the author could gave written a better ending.
Arte
I love to read historical fantasy stories. This manga has enraptured me from the moment I read the first chapter. Coming of age stories featuring strong, independent and ambitious young women are amongst my favourites. Following Arte's journey to becoming a master artisan in her own right will certainly be an interesting read. Arte is a beautiful, independent and ambitious young lady, whose childhood encouragement from her father motivated her to defy societal norms set for women in the 1500s . Her willingness to learn and her resilience at the face of all odds is very charming to me. I also enjoy reading her interactions with this fictional representation of the one and only Leonardo da Vinci. Leo's own character is very interesting. Coming from a poor background and working hard to overcome obstacles has made him value talent and potential over the sex of the person and it is interesting to see the similarities between him and Arte, who wants nothing more than to be acknowledged by the men in her trade as a woman capable of holding her own weight and being acknowleged for her skill. Her passion towards art is awe-inspiring and is something we should all aspire to have, in whatever endeavours we may take, whether its art or anything else. Arte is a strong, ambitious young lady who paves a path for herself in a world that looks down on women and is an example of how women should carry themselves in daily life. She does not want to be looked down for being a woman, and her pursuit towards her goal is sonething to be admired.
