Omoi No Kakera
I don't usually read Yuri manga, but this one gave me a pleasant surprise. The depiction of same sex love and the like seemed genuine and was super interesting to read! I enjoyed the depiction of some of the realities and the little difficulties members of the LGBT community face in Japan. It isn't overly exaggerated, but is made clear as something that exists and shouldn't be judged as something wrong. The manga has it's fluffy moments, but the little struggles the girls experience in their journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance was very touching. I especially enjoyed reading Mika's thoughts on same-sex relationships and feel that I can relate, as a closeted gay (young) man. Mayu and her brother are really cute characters, not to say that the other main characters aren't. I definitely would like to see a spinoff featuring Mayu's brother and maybe a continuation of the manga as a whole, expanding on Mayu and Saki's respective pursuits for love and the progression of Takako's relationship with Yui.
Hoshi to Kuzu - Don't Worry, Be Happy
The first chapter was really interesting. I hope that this manga's plot doesn't dive nose first into cheap melodrama.
Amai Sokubaku
I really enjoyed reading this manga. The gayngst was too real on this manga. I felt that the emotions and interactions of (and between) Masayuki and Kei felt genuine, which is really commendable for such a short story. The drama didn't feel contrived, narmy or superficial and I could feel Masayuki's inferiority complex seeping out of him. Unfortunately, this poor cinnamon roll was chosen to be the buttmonkey in the beginning of the story. Being overshadowed by a near perfect older brother and not being acknowledged or rewarded for the effort put into the work Masayuki did really messed him up. I really dislike Hajime and their dad for that reason. Neither tried looking into Masayuki's problem. The shitty dad was always crushing his poor self esteem and the idiotic air-headed Hajime never stopped to think that Masayuki harboured a deep inferiority complex against him since childhood. Ultimately, I'm just glad that Masayuki earned his happy ending. I genuinely felt moved from reading his struggles and to earn that happy ending atbthe end really made this a worthwhile read.
Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu
Literally one of the cutest yaoi I've ever read. I love It!
Fushidara na Hanatsumi Otoko
Nice art, Ayumi is hot. What more is there to say?
Youchina Koi O Dou Shiyou
Haru and Hiroyuki must definitely end up together NO MATTER WHAT!!! Even if Hiro is only a Beta, we can't have anyone but Haru be with him. Our little woobie needs Hiro, because he was the first person other than his mom to accept Haru for who he is as a person, rather than just identifying him as a slut or through his secondary gender !!!
Bachi Bachi (KIJIMA Hyougo)
My favourite couple was the beautician and the middle aged dad. The other pairings were really nice too! >:3
K-sensei no Yajuu na Aijou
A tall, muscular and gorgeous seme who is protective of his beloved uke is something I can't get enough of! I need to see more Ryusei x Midori!! Sidenote: Midori must be more honest and open with his feelings towards Ryusei!!!!
Renai Fuyuki Todoki
This was already so hot during the first chapter! I want to see how things will progress between these two especially considering various factors like the fact that they barely know each other and Kurama's dad is violently homophobic.......On a side note, I can relate quite a bit with Kurama, because I'm almost 100% sure that I'm gay, but I'm still in the closet.
