Favourite light novel.
The art is decent and translations good, tho I'll probably always prefer the fan novel translation (as official translation is trying too hard at times , it makes certain names/speech awkward). I like the character designs, even if i do think there could be some variations in features across different races (especially since there are so many 'beautiful' races compared to humans, etc). Overall, I think the manhwa is a great SUMMARY of the novel events, but fails to truly flesh out the details which make the story so compelling. A lot of the character personalities/dynamics have been cut short or removed and it's those little moments that really make the found family trope stand out in the novel.
This is me just nitpicking, but I don't think the action scenes do the novel justice. For example, there is never enough blood around Cale, or the ancient powers seem off? (The dominating aura for example, the art makes it look like a nice princely crown instead of an imposing position of power).
Overall, manhwa gets a 3/5
