Hm, idk, the same as all the other ones I've read with the same theme. And y'all too mad at Matsuri's ex, but he's probably the same as the MC - just straight up lied and denied the rumors to stay away from homophobes. The only difference is that the mc and ml met again so the mc had the chance to apologize; had the ml not followed the mc, he would've been the same as the senpai.
