The stories each present to us a different type of anxiety, prejudice, and all kinds of experiences a pregnancy would get, regardless of being female or male.
The only chapter I didn't really like is ch 5 where the husband is very insensitive and borderline abusive (emotionally) to his wife. They never got a closure about his behavior to his wife when she was pregnant, and his behavior now that he's the one who's pregnant.
