Ijiwaru Shinai de Dakishimete

Complete | KINOSHITA Neri | 2016 released

The first story was cute. "I want to become an adult first". Cute but honestly, it's just lack of communication. That said, it deserves more stars than what I gave this whole volume. probs 3/5 stars + what's better about the first story is how it's the extra story/side couple, kehehe. Nice twist that they got introduced before the main couple. (though it's not really main since there's still another story) The second/main story really annoyed me. I don't like the seme at all. Not because of their position in their relationship (seme/uke although both are tachi), but because it doesn't really feel like he loves the uke even after the manga ended. Seems like he just wants to be in a relationship, and the uke conveniently likes him. 2/10 As for the next story... chapter 4 was okay. Like legit okay, I liked it tbh. But... chapter 5 is bull. I understand the jealousy issue and that they wanted to resolve it. But fuck, that's not how you resolve it. Don't rape your partner just because you're jealous of his exes. "This is not jealousy, this is just not being trusted". Boy, you know what the issue is, don't stay with that asshole. 0/10

Struggle

I really really want to slap the hell out of the alpha. Like a lot of times. Then I'll stab moochan to death. Thank you. ------ Eh? That's it? Hmmm... I honestly like how the seme went off with "please don't forgive me yet because I know I still haven't redeemed myself. Don't accept me just because our daughter did" (non-verbatim ofc). I'm also glad the uke didn't forgive him straight up (I mean, that's the point of the title, lol). The damage has been done and neither of them forgot about it. The whole thing started off with the seme not trusting the uke. And not talking to him. Which the uke did point out to him, "you think too high of yourself, you think that whatever you believe is true". The seme is, was, an asshole and I'm glad he came to his senses to try and change. I expected more apologies from the seme. But with this ending, I guess we're just left on our own on how the seme actually redeems himself. We just know he'll keep trying until everyone, including him, believes he's done enough. Kinda wish we get to see that part, though I can't blame the author for cutting the story off there because it's a difficult situation to present. The child is definitely cute and smart. She's definitely the best character in the series, right next to her mom/dad/uke. Then after that would be Heejoo, best aunt fr - and we all love a strong woman who can stand up for herself and leave that shitty agency (honestly, that kinda reminds me of HyunA). And again, I want, and I will, stab Moochan to death. Thank you. ---- PS: for the ones confused about the seme's job shenanigans. He's an orthopedic resident (or intern) in his family's hospital. It was mentioned (around ch 15-20 iirc) that he took a leave, hence why he could "intern" in the kindergarten. As for his entertainment agency... which, while it honestly felt out of the blue and like a plot convenience device to save Heejoo and destroy Moochan... It kinda makes sense with him being a Chaebol... In the context of Korean dramas which don't really apply to real life.
