Ngl, ch 1 and 2 were kinda boring for me. But I love how Haru thinks. He is heartbroken, but he didn't forget to consider Isaac's feelings and apologized for it. I love how it isn't the cliche reincarnation story, but more of a moving on story. I loooove Yuki wholesome love

Here's my interpretation of the story: (Note that I just started reading about Shintoism after this manga, so I'm not sure if I interpreted it correctly (or maybe there's no "correct" interpretation because after all, this isn't really confirmed as Shintoism)) . In Shintoism, a shrine is where the god resides and it stores a sacred object representing the god. While the shrine is usually a building, it could pretty much be anything (a rock, a tree, a mountain), as long as it's important to the god. . In this case, the sacred object is the gemstone. And what happened is that the MC became the shrine of the god by keeping the stone, so his friend is now residing in him (or with him). The friend became his personal god instead of a god to bless everyone and be worshipped by everyone.

Now I want gramps' story Ch 1-5 + 6.5 is the main story, ch 6 is an unrelated one shot. The main story is... fine? Romantic development is kinda inexistent although I did like how the plot progressed chapter by chapter (especially with how this story isn't really meant to be a series). Tbh, I think ch 6 has its lore better developed (about hunters, beasts and monsters, etc) compared to the main story... although it has that disease called "one shot syndrome" where the story has barely any development. The confession for ch 6 just used aphrodisiac as a plot device to happen, otherwise you don't really feel anything from the uke. He just feels like an NPC object of desire by the MC. And the brother came out of nowhere, lol, he added nothing to the story. Is this an extra story of another manga?

Ch1: about a girl who is a reincarnation of a ghost's former lover who she supposedly committed a failed double suicide with Ch2: a story of a vampire who turned white because he lost his fangs Ch3: a girl who committed suicide got turned into a vampire. A story of her and the one who witnessed her suicide Ch4: a girl who's sold off to marry an old man tries to escape her fate by kidnapping a noble in hopes to make him fall in love with her and save her fate . . . Commentary (so I kinda remember because I have bad memory lol): I love ch1's ending. I would've hated it if it ended like other shoujo mangas with the girl falling in love with the ghost even though she already has someone she loves. (Like seriously, the ghost dude is creepy and too obsessed with the girl even though she's not the same person as her reincarnation). 7/10 Chapter 2 is... Okay, i guess? It didn't stick to me :/ 4/10 I like the disparity between the last two chapters. A girl got "kidnapped" and the other one is the kidnapper. One turned into a vampire in the beginning, the other at the end. Yet both are the same with regards to their complex and hate for their own life leading them to their vampirism. Both have realized their shortcomings, especially compared to the male lead. And both refused to let their loved one fall victim to the same fate. 9/10 (would be lower as individual stories, tbh, but I really liked them as a pair of stories)

He's um... A flying cockroach... Eeeeep This is funny even if it's not comedy Main couple is iffy. The spider is shown to be weakened by not eating (because the butterfly told him not to kill bugs, kinda selfish of the uke tbh), yet nothing changed in their relationship. It's implied that he'll be eating nectar as that's what the other butterfly brought to him + the ones he's ordering to collect food are the bees. But his species is carnivorous. At least eat dead bugs dude. The villain couple is... Eh. Same issue. If the villain stops eating, his lover won't be able to eat too... Though he might've just stopped overstocking on food (it was said he's overstocking when the MC fought him). BUT! there's actually a mistake in the order the villain got his wound when the uke's friends attacked him then after that, he became a couple with the uke and stopped eating/hoarding food. But in the main story (a chapter before that, lol), he has the wound. Hahaha~

The darn vampire is so messed up. Though I guess it comes with immortality that her morality is different than others. Because the same thing happened to her lover-turned-vampire who is filled with thoughts of killing her no matter what it takes. The ending is so... bitter. Not even bittersweet The characters just have to live on with the pain of not being with their family. This is all the result of the vampire and emperor's love.

idk if it's just me, but I feel like some chapters are missing panels or some chapters are missing... I loooove the 3 children though. I wanna see more of their dynamics after growing up. Plus, what'll happen to the phoenix and his mate?

LOI IS SOOO CUTE AND FLUFFY Hmmm, maybe I'm just not in the mood for smut rn (doubt it), but I really dislike the smut parts. They feel out of place. It's like the Shingeki no Kyojin movie sex scene. Dropped at ch 5. I don't like the seme at all. Too possessive and unnecessarily horny (are you into public sex, dude? Idc if you do, but do remember that only your bf can be seen by others. If you get caught, he's the only one that gets the backlash. It's not even with his consent). And when he tried to change (thank God he tried), the next thing he did is... Get mad at the uke for being "unfaithful"??? Because he got molested??? *cue confused math lady meme* I should probably turn off my brains when reading these types of manga
