The fact that MC and the Duke will probably end up together is disgusting. I don’t give a fuck of how much he improves, I hate him. If she ends up with the childhood friend all will be fixed, but she won’t. She is so fucking weak, one of the tags is ‘strong female lead’ but that could not be more wrong. She can get over her amazing, super fucking hot, one of a kind childhood friend. But danced with a guy ONCE… literally fucking once, and she’s crying over him?!? The Duke is shit, he treats her like shit for a fucking rumor, humiliates her in front of anyone and everyone but is completely ‘in love’??? What the fuck is this shit, I would rate 10 times even lower than abandoned empress. The author has very clearly put two characters that DONT work well, together… I’m so fucking pissed, she’s ‘StRoNg’ in the story but that’s the bare minimum standard to have for yourself. Like I get being self conscious because of the rumors but everything else, shit. Would not recommend reading this, you lose brain cells with every page.

ML is an asshole FL is a fucking pushover and simple problems with simple solutions become difficult because everyone in this story shares half a brain cell. This is one of the few stories that make me want to kill myself. First of all ML is an asshole which I can kinda understand, he’s been locked in his house and doesn’t get much interactions with other, however that doesn’t make him any less annoying. He’s a privilege piece of shit that doesn’t understand things. I can ignore this cause I don’t expect much for men anyways. But FL is soooooooo annoying. She’s “smart” and “strong” but has fallen for ML like a billion times and no matter how bad he treats her she still goes back to him EVERY SINGLE TIME. It seems like the author is milking the plot by reusing scenes. I believe that you can either have an amazing storyline or drag a story on to the point where you ruin the story. 0/10 would not recommend
