| 5 STARS | oh my lawd this was epic I finished this POSTHASTE in one night like godam this story is just amazing like the art and the characters are all just epic bihwan (seme) is so silly and cringe and doesnt know anything about the modern world and is super arrogant but that makes him interesting and then minchan who is traumatized but also rlly casual and tolerant is super cute and silly aswell the comedy is great the story is probably gonna be have a lot of ups and downs and flashbacks but thats okay so far i actually havent gotten bored from this even though I finished it in one go anyway theres supposed to be 3 seasons and im rlly excited so YYAA UPDATE : so reread it again now that season 2 is coming out once again POSTHASTE in one night lol idk why i always lock in for this but anyway just to add a bit more to the review there are some confusing elements to the story about the korean folklore and supernatural elements that make it harder to follow but the story is still super epic despite that so yippeee im super tired and gonnar sleep now but im rlly happy its finally starting again!!

| 3.7 STARS | honestly rlly love its so epic the dynamics are EVERYTHIngg obviously this story isnt exactly wholesome its literally by parkgee and its pretty similar to suicide boy from the mc's traits like being a shota and having wide hips and thighs but I definitely like Il-taks personality way more than Hooni's (even though hes lowkey homophobic as are most of the characters so thats a big story obstacle) and his life isnt as depressing though its not rlly good either also the bully from this story (hyung-goo) who is also a love interest looks super similar to the one from suicide boy lol there is definitely slow-burn in a unique way like the main pair (Il-tak x Hyunwoo) haven't done anything yet but hyun-goo on on the other hand has groped il-tak among other things but i dont think it ever will happen because parkgee is just really into softcore so yeah :/ it is definitely a love triangle(?) (im starting to think its gonna be a square because in one of the cover arts theres a person in the backround that hasn't be introduced yet so im rlly excited for that) which i love like even though hyun-goo is like a huge dickhead I still love the dynamic toxic pairs are epic anyway finally il-taks sister Iyeon is so great love her so much she is so real and her love goes wayyy beyond platonic lol overall rlly exciteddd edit: unfort i took one star away because the art keeps getting bad sometimes and the story is annoying rn but it might get better idk

| 5 STARS | slow ahh burn omg but jokes aside this is definitely one of the greatest stories I've read it's up there for sure the only problem is how disorganized the chapters are but it's manageable and there's a bit of drama throughout as well but it also makes it more interesting so I'll let it slide anyway yeah I wish this updated more often and love everything (written on tablet srry for the briefness even though I could write so much more)

| 4 STARS | maomao is such a cutie and I love her so much doctor characters are genuinely always my faves anyway I just wrote the long ahh review for the one within the villainess and noticed I hadn't updated this but I really dont feel like writing another long review right now even though this deserves it but its okay u already know this is rlly goated (sometimes has long drawn-out arcs that get boring which is why its not 5)

| 5 STARS | ihmygod im gonna scream this is so incredibly incredible everything is just amazingly thought out and executed like I'm actually gonna try to read the novel because I can't wait for new chapters this is truly hurt/comfort though omg I have screamed and tweaked like never before while reading this the story is just cinema there is nothing else to say abel is adorable and kind and kalas is obsessive and epic IMG AND ITS LITERALLY BY THE SAME CREATOR AS PAYBACK AAAZZZZZZZHHH

| 4 STARS | im pretty sure this is the pre main story of gokurakugai so i learned about the characters a bit before reading the main story and im exciteddd the art is so pretty and i love the world building with beastmen and stuff and setting of this futuristic china-esque inspired place!!

| 4.5 STARS | aaaaaa so this was so good fr and the art was sooooo good and hot too but loteraly it has so many pet peeves of mine :sob: like the misunderstanding of their feelings literally lasted until like the last chapter (╯︵╰,) the story was rly good though fr like the incubus thing was rlly well done imo and their personalities were pretty epic but I wish the chief would act more on his desires because he's supposed to be rlly sadistic and stuff in his head but he only showed it like once so UPDATE omg the second story between the incubus and yusa is so much better I'm actually gonna cry their relationship and dynamic has a lot of my preferences AND theres angst that hurts so good (but is also the reason why I'm taking away .5 stars) like chapter 15 left me so broken I need to see an update or I'll sue

| 3 STARS | oh my godnes what is wrong with me I actually just finished this whole thing in one night reading for like 7 hours nonstop anyway do I regret it yeah a little bit it's literally exam week but what can ya do eahhh unfortunately the translations are quite terrible and the pacing of the story is really weird it does that thing 19 days does where it randomly timeskips temporarily and makes it really confusing speaking of timeskips even the main timeline had like long asf timeskips like years which is a peeve of mine overall kind of nostalgic but it triggers me sometimes like I keep getting this undertone of all the relationships having unhealthy traits and the pillow talk is especially bad as well as how often the story deviates from the main couple tian yi and tian cai like I don't care about the stupid incubus and class presidents story at all stop forcing it down my gullet
