This is the type of yaoi story that transcends its genre. The art is beautiful, with Kou, the seme character, particularly beautiful and alluring despite (or probably because of) the scar on his face; his palpable inner demons elicit empathy from the reader, even though the full background history that causes him so much turmoil is yet to be revealed, yet one cannot help but be mesmerized by his mysterious aura and mature confidence. Nagisa on the other hand, is the polar opposite of Kou, with a flamboyance and youthful confidence that is soon easily crushed by Kou's superior talent. Even though the story is staged within the world of pole dancing, the characters and performances are not cheapened, but are instead beautiful and visually alluring; despite being a short scene, I couldn't take my eyes off Kou and Nagisa when they were dancing together during practice. It was very sensual and emotional for the both of them as well as the readers. The Mangaka did an outstanding job on this and I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful and captivating story!
