I Was Just An Ordinary Lady
Mary Sue MC. The beginning was pretty unique, but that vanished soon enough. Somehow I powered through and now I'm just reading it for the spirit kings
Surviving As A Maid
I have a lifetime membership in the Yurgel Hate Club. I'd sell his soul to Satan for a dust bunny. That aside, there's so much politcking and from some such a fresh, unique perspective. Plus, MC doesn't have the full picture and she's still putting the pieces together. Great stuff.
Shadow Queen
It grabs you by your metaphorical balls and doesn't let go. Slow, satisfying revenge. MC's rage is one that has been simmering and stewing for ages- but she's ever pragmatic and very cut throat. Genuinely one of the best revenge stories I've read. Eagerly waiting for updates. 10/10. 12/10 for the slow cooker revenge. I can appreciate playing the long game.
Under the Oak Tree
Steamy, steamy smut which I absolutely did not expect in this genre. Excellent chemistry, and both the leads are frustrating in the best way. Edit, 03/09/21: I put this off for too long, hoping it would go over allahor cliffhangers, but I couldn't bear it anymore and ended up binging until I bit all my fingernails off. Anyway, if you haven't already heard it before, then this is phenomenal. It's so fucking good that I don't even have any accurate adjectives for this. Even if you've never ever read any manhwa that's geared towards women before, if recommend you read this.
The Pet of the Villainess Webtoon
I really enjoyed the premise, and then it's just kinda dipping now. Naska has my whole heart and Rebecca is the ultimate tragic heroine- until she slowly starts reclaiming her agency. The romance is just too... much for me. I don't like it at all. I ship Rebecca and Naska with MC more. Not bad for a light read though.
Lucia
S1 was perfect. In terms of pacing, characters, dialogue, everything- it was a joy to read. Somehow, it's been a lot more difficult for me to read S2. It might be the change of art, but honestly, I believe the storytelling seems to have dipped in this new season. Things just don't seem that impactful anymore.
A Villain Is A Good Match For A Tyrant
Original premise, excellent characters, unforgettable and sizzling chemistry- and that's just the beginning. The dichotomy of how Cecile acts and how Cecile is, is so fun to read. The interactions between ML and MC are also excellent, and they go so well together. I wouldn't ask for anything to change.
My Fiance is in Love with My Little Sister
You think you've cried and been sad? Not until you're sobbing in your bed, feeling like it's hard to breathe because this manga is beyond heartbreaking. You ain't ever seen tragedy like this. This story is going to touch something visceral in you, and leave a raw, gaping wound, and you. Can't. Stop. Reading. 12/10.
Villainess Maker
Oh my god- is this why villains toe the line to madness to easily? It's so addictive to see her get corrupted, and I'm enjoying this thoroughly. I'm convinced I have a daddy kink after this manga tbh
The Villain Discovered My Identity
