Nishikadochan's manga / #Harlequin(148)

This was enjoyable. A lot of common tropes for the genre. Two people forced into close proximity by both being selected as guardians of the same children. Assumptions leading to misunderstanding each other. Being obsessed and/or traumatized about someone for more than a few years. Still, the story was well executed, and the characters were likable. I particularly loved the housekeeper. She was a firecracker!

I didn't hate this by any means, but the male lead was a jerk. He absolutely did not do enough to earn her forgiveness. Asking her to marry him at that point was one hell of a jump, considering they never even went on a date. It seems like Will's main redeeming quality is the fact that he's super hot. Oh, and he's rich. I really liked the character of Evie. Her relationship with Gwen was sweet. Plus she's a total spitfire, and makes an excellent counterpoint to Will.

Apollo and Pixie are cute, but I think i prefer Vito and Holly's story

The male lead was so awful to her. I don't understand what he was mad about. He dumped her, and somehow has the balls to be angry that she disappeared out of his life. Of course she did! You threw her away! Was she supposed to just wait around to see if you'd pay enough attention to hurt her again? His only saving grace is what an attentive father he is.
