Damn this read hit too close to home. I’m stuck in the closet and no one really knows about my situation. I have told my brother and sister a little bit but they don’t really know the whole scope of my sexuality/gender/preferences. I understand how the seme can feel that it is safe to just stay in the shadows, but damn it was sadly and tearfully liberating to see how the seme came out after falling for the uke. This is a realistic depiction of what being closeted feels like. You just live everyday feeling bored and unsatisfied with people and relationships you build with others. Nothing feelings genuine coming from you. Similarly for the uke he is straightforward and can’t hide who he is and this made me feel like a fool for not being honest with myself.
